So I went out to a friend's car , desperate for me to fix there car as some guy came out to add a key to it, but subsequently deleted all the keys and somehow reprogrammed the new key they where trying to add but the car wouldn't accept It.

Anyway I managed to fix it, got 2 new keys added them both, & remotes work and the car starts but the proxi function doesn't appear to see the keys. , the new keys are aftermarket. , I did wonder if it might be due to that, or is there a synchronisation process much like the j10 micra?

Or if it may be the after market keys? Either way the car starts and drives it just needs the keys in the ignition.

Just abit odd really

Anyone seen anything like that before?
